We are delighted to share that Cayleigh Will, Mechanical Technician, and part of the maintenance team at the px St Fergus Gas Terminal (SFGT) located in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, has been awarded the Safety R+ Award for her exceptional commitment to safety.
Cayleigh demonstrated remarkable vigilance when she noticed an incorrect valve position whilst removing a PSV (Pressure Safety Valve). She immediately halted the operation and informed the operations team, ensuring proper safety measures were put into place.
Cayleigh was nominated by her peers and supervisors for her quick thinking and attention to detail.
The Safety R+ Award recognises individuals who go above and beyond in prioritising safety, taking proactive measures, and demonstrating exceptional awareness in their daily tasks.
Cayleigh’s actions exemplify our commitment to safety, responsibility and excellence. To celebrate her achievement, our client px made a £100 donation to Alzheimer Scotland, Cayleigh’s chosen charity.
