Our podcast, “Altrad Uncovered”, allows the listener to hear perspectives from every level in the Altrad business, from the boardroom to our site operations.
In this, our fifth episode, we hand over the microphone to Dan McGahon. Dan started his career as a chain boy at Heysham nuclear power station, before working for the fire service for 25 years. Dan retired at 55, but realised it wasn’t for him, returning to Heysham for an outage, before joining Altrad in December 2016.
During his chat with Pete Hughes, we get to hear about Dan’s life outside of Altrad, his career to date, and Dan’s journey with prostate cancer. We are immensely proud of Dan for sharing this story with us.
