Altrad drives away with yet more fleet awards

At the UK Fleet Champions Awards 2020, Altrad added two more honours to the list – the winners of the Fleet Safety Partnership Award and Road Risk Manager of the Year Award.

The ‘Fleet Safety Partnership Award’ was presented to Altrad and Trakm8. Trakm8’s driver behaviour analytics together with Altrad produced a solution that enabled an improved understanding of Altrad’s driver’s behaviour. This allowed Altrad to structure e-learning courses to target high risk drivers. As a result of these changes, Altrad have seen their overall driver telematics score improve by 50% combined with a reduction in incident rates of 8%.

Altrad’s Head of Fleet, Matthew Hammond was the recipient of the ‘Road Risk Manager of the Year Award’. This is the second award within the manager category that Matthew has won this year.
