Altrad’s team in Wales and Southern England organised a collection of donations to be used on a Christmas shopping trip, with the aim being to donate all the food and supplies to The Trussell Trust in Cwmavon, South Wales in time for the holidays.
They were able to raise £305 through collections from management and office staff in the region for their Christmas donation, as well as an additional £80 from their World Cup sweepstakes which will be put towards a further donation to the food bank in the new year.
Marc Jones, Regional Director of Wales and the South, said “I was delighted to see the response from our people in helping us raise these funds for much-needed supplies in the festive period, it’s a real pleasure to be able to support our local communities.”
