The Altrad team at St Fergus in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, have successfully completed the scheduled Phase 2 Shutdown. This allowed the export of Norwegian gas from the Vesterled pipeline to restart. This terminal has major strategic importance to the UK and Europe to enable it to provide a reliable gas supply.
The Altrad team completed this shutdown with zero injuries, zero incidents and with zero harm to the environment. In doing so, the plant returned to service 17 hours ahead of plan, enhancing the client’s reputation as the ‘terminal of choice’.
A representative from NSMP said “Thanks to the Altrad team, for all the hard work that has gone into this Phase 2 outage”.
