Last month, our people proudly supported a range of initiatives across the UK, helping spread festive cheer in the communities in which we operate.
In Scotland, teams in Aberdeen helped fund four months of Clan Cancer Support’s Moray patient transport service and also contributed through our giving tree appeal, while our people wrapped more than 200 boxes of shortbread for residents at Fergus House Care Home. Grangemouth continued its long tradition of providing gifts for 60 local children through incredible teamwork, and in Renfrew, our people supported the Renfrewshire Toy Bank for the third year running, helping brighten the season for children and teenagers locally.
Across England, our people in Fawley gathered an impressive collection of donations with support from the 5k Pub Runners, and the Dow Silicones team raised £131 for their local food bank through an on-site raffle. Teams in Selby supported Selby Hands of Hope by donating gifts for children in need, while in the Humber region, our people joined the Mission Christmas appeal, with generous support from our suppliers, helping bring a little extra joy to local children. In Teesside, our people supported The Junction Foundation by sorting and wrapping donations and contributing £250 towards their seasonal efforts. Our Nufarm team once again supported St Andrew’s Hospice’s Light Up a Life service, and teams across multiple sites donated selection boxes to organisations including Bramble Brae Primary School, BloodRun EVS, and St Andrew’s Hospice.
In Wales, our people came together during their end‑of‑year get‑together and at the Pyle office, raising £665 for Banc Bwyd Port Talbot Food Bank with support from teams across Pembroke, Aldermaston, Fawley, and Pyle.
Many offices also took part in Christmas Jumper Day, adding fun and colour to the season.
Thank you to everyone involved – together, you helped make a meaningful difference in our communities.
