Karl
Karl is responsible for the Onshore business in the UK, which includes the management and delivery of services for clients including but not limited to refineries, chemical and power generation.
Karl joined Cape and then more latterly Altrad in 2011; having spent 14 years in various roles across industry. Following completion of a degree in Accountancy & Finance, Karl started his career in Procurement and then transitioned to Business Management where he became part of the Snr Leadership team for a Gas Fired Power Station which generated circa 5% of the UK’s electricity demand.
Prior to joining the Board at Altrad, Karl held numerous Operational Management Roles primarily in the North East of England; his home, however as is normal within Altrad this role constantly changed through integration and the formation of Altrad Services.
Karl is also a member of the Governing Body for Thermal Insulation Contractors Association (TICA) who look to develop strategy and training provision across the Insulation sector; as well as being a member of the ED&I Steering Committee; being a father to 2 young girls this is a subject which is a passion of Karl’s.
