Chris
Chris joined Altrad in 2010 through Hertel UK & I (a previous subsidiary of Altrad) where he has held various leadership roles across the Altrad business, culminating in leading the UKI & Nordics Offshore sector since 2019. A sector that has seen tremendous growth in a short time frame. Chris is also the Transformation Director for both the Stork and Beerenberg acquisitions.
Prior to joining Altrad, Chris held a variety of operational and business development leadership roles at Balfour Beatty, Shell and Royal Vopak. Chris has also spent time overseas – he was based in South Africa for two years as Project Director in Durban whilst at Royal Vopak.
Chris has a MSc in business economics from Sheffield University and an MBA from the Rotterdam school of management during time spent in The Netherlands with Shell.
He has over 20 years’ experience across the oil & gas, petrochemical, nuclear and conventional and renewable power generation markets with a proven track record of growth and managing complex change.
