Richard’s exemplary work at Ratcliffe power station also led to him winning the Asbestos Supervisor of the Year 2023 in the ACAD Supervisor of the Year Awards. His commitment to excellence and his advocacy for “In Sam’s Name” have set him apart in the industry.
“In Sam’s Name” serves as a vital platform for men in North Nottinghamshire who are facing challenging times. Inspired by the life of Richard’s friend Sam “Sponge” Fisher – this charity addresses mental health issues and aims to make a positive impact on the community.
