Celebrating our people reaching 40 years of service

We take immense pride in showcasing two of our people who have recently been recognised for their hard work and commitment to Altrad, receiving long-service awards to celebrate 40 years of service.

Dave Whitehouse, Training Centre Manager based in Tipton, England, reached 40 years of service in March 2024. Dave joined Altrad Babcock in September 1982 on a Youth Opportunity Programme and was then given a permanent position in March 1984, working in the Inspection Department. During his 40 years with the organisation, he has worked both on and off-site, holding several positions, including inspector, quality engineer, production manager, training manager, and operational support.

Last month marked 40 years of service for Robert McGrory, Business Performance Manager based in Renfrew, Scotland. Keith Jones, Business Unit Director – Generation, joined Robert to present him with his award. Keith commented on Robert’s milestone, stating: “This is an outstanding achievement. Robert is a highly valued and well-respected member of our Nuclear Sector Team, and we are grateful for his professionalism and commitment, as well as for the support that he provides to our developing team members who benefit from his vast knowledge and experience. We would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere appreciation to Robert for the significant contribution that he has made to the success of Altrad Babcock.”
