Despite the challenges, which have arisen as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, Altrad remain committed to it’s ongoing programme of recruiting apprentices.

Accordingly, we are currently looking to recruit a number of new apprentices in to the business in the following disciplines; scaffolding, thermal insulation, welding, pipe-fitting, mechanical and business administration. These roles will be split across the a wide geographical area including the North East, Humberside, South of England, Wales, Scotland and offshore (North and Southern sector).

Altrad is proud of it’s track record of recruiting, training and developing apprentices, many of which, have progressed throughout the business into more senior operational and support positions.

Head of Workforce Development, Tony Whalley, commented “We are looking forward to attracting the next generation of apprentices into Altrad, and we welcome candidates from any background, regardless of experience and from any age group. In particular, we would be extremely keen to hear from female candidates which will support our desire to create a more diverse and entrepreneurial business.”
