Altrad’s operations at Grangemouth achieves 16 million work-hours without a lost time incident (LTI)

We are delighted to report that our Grangemouth site operations in Scotland have achieved a world-class performance of 16 million work-hours without a lost time incident (LTI).

The petrochemical complex at Grangemouth delivers almost 40% of the UK’s north sea oil and gas production. On any one day, approximately 350 of Altrad’s talented people support the operations at the complex, which can peak around 950 people during major events.

This is a significant achievement, especially so when considering the challenges of ensuring safe working with such a hazardous environment.

A note of recognition goes to Drew Halley for his continued safety leadership – who has played a significant role developing such an excellent safety culture.

Andy Colquhoun, Executive Vice President of Operations said: “A fantastic achievement! 16 million hours and 22 years without an LTI are proof that zero harm is possible with the right leadership, dedication, and focus.”
