Altrad has received a RoSPA gold award for its safety performance at Sellafield, a large multi-function nuclear site close to Seascale on the coast of Cumbria.

In addition, the i3 Decommissioning Partners, a joint venture (JV) between Altrad Services, Shepley Engineers Ltd and Jacobs have also won a gold RoSPA award at the Sellafield site.

David Fitzsimons, Managing Director for Altrad, commented “These awards are presented by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), an internationally recognised charity, which recognises excellence in safety. Our activities were benchmarked against many global organisations and we were ranked amongst the best in the world. This is a fantastic achievement from our teams at Sellafield.”

Mike Lacey, i3 Project Director, said,

I am delighted that we have received confirmation that i3 Decommissioning Partners have received a RoSPA Gold Award, for the third year in succession and I am extremely proud of the exceptional dedication of our team.”

Let’s start the conversation
