The skyline above Valero’s oil refinery in Pembrokeshire, South Wales has recently changed – changed to reinforce Altrad’s ambition that everyone returns home safely – everyday.
Altrad’s team at Valero refinery were fast approaching a major turnaround event, which would see several hundred new people arrive at site on the 2nd February, providing the perfect opportunity to reinforce the importance of safety.
Despite the challenges from the Pembrokeshire weather, the new sign was installed 90 metres up on an access structure which was designed and built by Altrad.
The ‘Home Safe’ message, a smart addition to the sign above, is impactful – as it is visible not only from site but also from the surrounding road networks!
