Altrad make donation to the ‘Empowerment Charity’ in Blackpool, England

Altrad have partnered with ‘Empowerment’ in Blackpool, in the north west of England, during December to support one of their projects titled ‘The Den’, which gives specialist and practical support to children and young people who have been impacted by domestic abuse. A target of 300 selection boxes was set to ensure that the young people they work with would have at least a selection box to open at Christmas.

Empowerment are a charity who work to help marginalised communities in both Blackpool and along the Fylde coast. Their aim is to allow marginalised people to have their voices heard in the community.

A total of 415 selection boxes and 300 Christmas cards were donated by the team, surpassing the initial target set by the charity by a considerable margin.
