Altrad Babcock propels continuous improvement in its nuclear service business

Altrad Babcock’s nuclear service business supports a range of clients including; EDF, Magnox and UKAEA, who manage an important aspect of the UK nuclear infrastructure.

Following a strong performance year-to-date, the nuclear service team are constantly striving to learn, improve and add more value to its clients.

Regular performance reviews are essential to facilitate a robust continuous improvement plan – similar to the one held at our Tipton Centre of Excellence in September 2022.

This meeting allowed the team to review performance in the first half of 2022 across the UK nuclear service sites, and to capture learning from experience, to ensure we can drive continuous improvement in our business going forward.

Keith Jones, Director of Nuclear Service, said: “The performance review was particularly significant, as it provided an opportunity for our nuclear service team to come together as Altrad Babcock for the first time. Whilst safety and quality performance has been excellent to date, we have experienced some events which provide vital learning opportunities.”
