Altrad are delighted to have received AstraZeneca’s Global Engineering award – an award for outstanding performance, whilst delivering a number of construction activities at its Macclesfield, UK facility over the course of 2020 – most notable of which was the syringe fill and assembly line project which supported the UK’s roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccine programme.
Ian Walsh, Construction Manager for the GERE Shyringe fill and assembly line project commented, “Altrad provided an outstanding professional services, working in a live facility, all access equipment erected was completed in restricted areas and around various live services. All task were completed on schedule and with no impact to the sterile manufacturing plant.”
