Altrad achieves bronze award in the armed forces Employer Recognition Scheme

It is with great pride that we announce that Altrad has achieved a bronze award in the armed forces Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS).

The ERS celebrates organisations that pledge, demonstrate and advocate unwavering support for the Defence community. Through the ERS, employers not only show their commitment to defence but also inspire others to follow their lead.

This achievement follows John Walsh, CEO of UK, Ireland, Nordics & Poland, signing the UK Armed Forces Covenant in July at a ceremony in Catterick Garrison, England. This public commitment supports those transitioning from the military into meaningful employment and recognises the value that reservists, cadet force adult volunteers, and military spouses bring to our business.

The armed forces covenant is a national commitment to ensure that members of the armed forces and their families, particularly those who have been injured, are treated with respect, support, and fairness. Over 11,000 businesses, organisations, and charities have signed the covenant, and Altrad is proud to join them.
