It is with great pride that we share that Tony Jester, Executive Vice President Operations, has won the Outstanding Contribution Award at the prestigious 2024 NEPIC Industry Awards!
The NEPIC Industry Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of the companies and individuals who make up the processing industries in the North East of England.
This achievement is a testament to the exceptional work that Tony has done in his more than 40-year career to support Teesside, in North East England, having dedicated many hours to support clients across the North-East Process Industry Cluster; Huntsman, SABIC, ConocoPhilips, EDF, CF, PX, and Venator, to name a few.
The award also reflects Tony’s considerable support of the next generation of talent from across the region throughout his career, which has often seen him sponsoring the many and varied apprenticeship and graduate initiatives. Tony has been a strong supporter of recruiting more apprentices and graduates across Altrad, many of whom will be based in Teesside, as well as pioneering a Skills Pathway Scheme to combat the current skills shortage and reaching new talent from outside the industry to give them opportunities at client sites across the North-East.
Congratulations, Tony, on this incredible achievement that signifies the consistent passion, drive, and hard work you have demonstrated to develop local talent to meet the needs of an ever-demanding industry that cannot achieve its growth ambitions without a skilled and competent workforce.
