Emma Herbert-Okey highlighted the opportunity to mount our defibrillators externally after attending a first aid course, Sharon Fulton-Creed suggested the defibs be registered with the Ambulance Service to aid local businesses and families in the unfortunate event they need one.
Sharon said, “Like all safety equipment, in the event of an emergency, it’s comforting to know that this equipment is now available for us – and in this case – it can also serve the local community.”
The defibrillators have now been installed at both our Norwich and Great Yarmouth offices, South East England, together with paediatric pads to ensure the kit can also help young children. Sharon is the custodian of the equipment and confirms its availability to the Ambulance Service regularly.
