Scaffolding project success for client SABIC

The Ole6 Q4 2020 event scaffold team have successfully dismantled a 36m high structure around the full perimeter of the E1701 column. This has been completed without incident and without any negative feedback from a flurry of daily audits carried out by the client SABIC, as well as Altrad VFL and stakeholder audits.

The team can be credited with completing the works ahead of schedule and on budget. The projects success also relied on collaborative working with Mammoet Cranes and interaction with other third parties who required operational access.

Project Manager, Mark McHale said, “Given the impact COVID-19 restrictions, and 50% of the team having been put straight onto the work after spending 12 weeks at home on furlough, the delivery of this scope was unparalleled.

Every member of the Altrad team exceeded our initial expectations, and working as one harmonious group they delivered more than the sum of their parts reaching their objectives, safely, on time and on budget.  The team should be proud of what they achieved in a limited period of time, under very difficult circumstances.
