Last month marked Mental Health Awareness Week (MHAW) – a time dedicated to raising awareness, encouraging open conversations about mental health, reducing stigma, and highlighting the importance of mental wellbeing.
At our Middlesborough office in England, our people proudly supported the cause by fundraising for the Mental Health Foundation, a charity committed to preventing poor mental health and promoting positive mental wellbeing.
This year’s theme for MHAW was ‘community’, and in the spirit of togetherness, Lisa Newell, Office Manager, and Karen Young, Subcontract Compliance Manager, organised a great initiative involving the sale of baked goods and pin badges. Their efforts brought colleagues together and raised an impressive £89 in a single day. Combined with the proceeds from their Easter raffle in April, our people’s generosity and commitment resulted in a total donation of £319 to the Mental Health Foundation.
