It hasn’t taken long for Altrad’s people to show its support of the charity, Lighthouse, as our commercial administrator Victoria Moore attempts a staggering challenge.
During July 2021, Victoria aims to complete a 22-mile swim – equating to the length of the English Channel! Victoria has made special arrangements with Leiston Leisure Centre to help her complete her challenge, which will help raise much needed funds for one of Altrad’s chosen charities.
Altrad recently announced its partnership with Lighthouse, the construction industry charity, who provide emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to construction workers and their families.
Lighthouse have worked hard to raise the awareness of the mental health issues in our industry and due to this increase in awareness, Lighthouse have seen a 56% increase in demand for its vital services. However, they receive no public funding and depend on the generosity of those within the industry to keep this much needed service available to support the people in our industry and their families.
