We are delighted to share the story of the recent CSR event that took place at Altrad’s Selby Office in England. To start things off, the team held a staff cake sale on Red Nose Day, and then went on to walk 5km along the stunning Selby canal. Together, they were able to raise an impressive £215 for charity!
Jamie Yarker, Construction Lead, rallied our North East region colleagues to participate in the 5km run/walk for charity, with all donations going to the Trussell Trust. The Selby team has a long-standing relationship with the local Selby foodbank, and they felt it was crucial to continue supporting their local community.
The foodbank expressed their gratitude for the continued support, especially during these challenging times. With household bills increasing, even families with full-time jobs are now relying on the foodbank to make ends meet. Rachael Warner, Senior Commercial Controller, played a significant role in organising a supermarket sweep and our people from the Selby office were very generous in their donations.
