Building a pathway to employment in Teesside, England

We are excited to announce a new scholarship programme in collaboration with the NPCAT, the largest educational academy in Teesside, England. Recognising the challenges faced by communities in the Teesside area, we are committed to making a positive impact by creating new pathways to opportunity.

Altrad will support three promising Year 11 students from St. Peter’s college with financial assistance, mentorship and work placements over the course of their education. By aligning our expertise and resources with these students’ career aspirations, we aim to cultivate a pathway to meaningful employment.

Altrad’s scholarship programme offers more than just financial support. Each student will benefit from hands-on work placements within Altrad, providing them with valuable real-world experience and insights that can shape their futures. Additionally, each student will be paired with an Altrad mentor, who will offer guidance and support throughout their studies.

Head of Careers at NPCAT expressed their enthusiasm, saying: “I am pleased to share that we successfully secured three spots for St. Peter’s pupils on the Altrad scholarship. This achievement was a collaborative effort, with significant support from Steph, the Head Teacher at St. Peter’s, throughout the process. I am proud of what we’ve accomplished together and excited for the opportunities that this will bring to the students.”
