An incredible 50-year career with Altrad

Dave Drury has achieved the remarkable milestone of 50 years continuous service with Altrad.

Dave began his career at the age of 15 in Burnley, for a company called Darlington – since acquired by Altrad. Throughout the duration of his career, Dave has predominantly worked on nuclear sites across the UK, most notably on the construction phase of Sizewell B. He has held many roles including positions as a supervisor – however, Dave prefers a more hands on role and is currently working as a thermal insulation engineer (TIE).

At Altrad, we recognise the loyalty and long service achievements of our people. Surprisingly however, this unique achievement of 50 years is so extraordinary that a new reward category had to be created for this outstanding accomplishment.
