Altrad have supported the NEPIC annual awards for 17 consecutive years.

The NEPIC awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals who support the chemical-processing industries in the North East of England.

The young achiever’s category is for those aged between 16 and 35 and recognises talent across the industry’s five sectors: Biotechnology, Base Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, Fine & Speciality Chemicals and Support & Supply Chain.

The winners on the night were; Philip Probert (Head of Technical, CPI), Daniel Thompson (Assistant Mechanical Engineer, Huntsman Polyurethanes UK), Amber Johnson (Apprentice Laboratory Technician, Sterling Pharma Solutions), Kin On Ho (Research Scientist – Process Technologies, CPI) and Molly Bell (Technical Plant Engineer, Suez).

Tony Jester, Altrad’s Managing Director, said “We are pleased to continue our long-standing relationship with NEPIC and are proud to sponsor the young achiever award category. This award not only recognises the best and brightest young people in the chemical processing industries, but it also helps promote the industry as an attractive career choice.”
