Altrad support three charities in the South East of England

Altrad’s team at Sizewell B nuclear power station, located in Suffolk, South East England, have recently made donations to three charities.

The first of which, Prostate Cancer UK, whereby Altrad’s donation will help fund ground-breaking research and improve treatment for patients.

Altrad’s second chosen charity, St Elizabeth hospice, provides care and support to improve life for those living with progressive and life-limiting illnesses. The charity raises 70% of its funding through charitable donations and fundraising – Altrad’s donation will assist them directly in the running of their facilities and help them provide crucial care for those who need it.

Finally, Altrad has also supported Orwell Panthers athletics club for disabled athletes which is devoted to coaching young people with disabilities to take part in athletics. Altrad’s donation will contribute to providing the best possible experience for the young people at the club, whether it be through the purchase of new equipment or simply maintaining facilities.

Warner Allan, Altrad’s site manager at Sizewell B nuclear power station said, “We are delighted to be in the privileged position to support these three worthy charities, which support causes, that are close to the hearts of certain members of our local team.”
