Altrad Services are part of the new construction work on the Cargill Seaforth site, providing access services to the project. Because of the nature of working in confined space the works have proved challenging. In addition to the already challenging conditions, a live processing plant continues to operate in the confines of the work area.
The recognition is focused on high safety standards, proactive safety reporting & actions and positive response to any safety challenges presented during the shutdown.
Cargill have awarded Altrad £1,200 to give to a charity of their choosing. The team picked Claire House Children’s Hospice who provide help to seriously and terminally ill children.
Altrad’s Site Supervisor, Anthony Long has been a shining light throughout the shutdown and managed all these difficult conditions to a very high standard. The relationships he has made with the client and project team has been well recognised by all management on site. Anthony regularly goes the extra mile to ensure delivery is timely without ever compromising the safety of the site.
