Altrad Services attended the AIS Training Careers Open Day on the 30 January, where they provided information on jobs and apprenticeships which are currently available.
The event, which was held at the AIS HQ in Newcastle, and aimed to bring together new and existing talent to the industry and introduce them to industry leaders.
Altrad Services’ Head of UK Resourcing, Nicky Young, was on hand to talk to the attendees during a session introducing people to the business, growth plans in 2020 and beyond, the key recruitment areas to coincide with this growth and the benefits of working for Altrad Services.
Following the event Nicky said, “These Careers Open Days provide a great opportunity to get out on the road and meet people interested in working for Altrad Services. It’s always beneficial to attend events like this, especially when there’s such a great attendance like today. We were able to speak to a lot of onshore and offshore talent as well as introduce newcomers to the industry into entry level roles. On the back of this event we’ve been able to set up a number of promising interviews.”
Encouraging young people into the industry is an important part of the future success of businesses right across the sector. This careers open day gave people an opportunity to come down and see what a career in the industrial services world might look like, with apprenticeships set up to deliver multi-skilled training to tomorrow’s workforce.
