Altrad Babcock recognised with safety awards

Congratulations to Altrad Babcock’s Gary Proctor and Ian Garrett, who are currently working on the assurance event for SABIC at Wilton, Redcar, Teesside, North East England – each received a safety award from the client for the safety observations they submitted.

Gary Proctor, Rigger, noticed some pipework which was likely to fall to the ground due to detrition. The client was grateful for Gary’s observation as this has potentially avoided an unwanted safety event.

Ian Garrett, Plater, submitted an observation highlighting where the road undersoil had washed away exposing a huge hole, which could have collapsed under vehicle weight.
